At Elkhorn North, Hofer has been involved in cheerleading and can be found on game days encouraging students to attend athletic events so they can find joy in being part of a school community. Hofer said he wants to translate his caring spirit into pursuing a career as a traveling nurse so he can help others.
Ashley Koluch, Hofer’s cheer coach at Elkhorn North, said the future Maverick’s finds a way to inspire everyone he interacts with.
“He not only strives to better himself, but he pushes everyone to be better as well,” Ashley Koluch, Elkhorn North High School Cheer coach. “I just love that about him.”
