Flag Lowering for Clifford Jones
The UNO flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Nov. 23, in memory of Jones, a UNO retiree, who passed away on Saturday, Sep. 25, 2021, at the age of 75.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Nov. 23, in memory of UNO retiree Clifford Jones.
Clifford passed away on Sep. 25, 2021, at the age of 75. He worked at UNO from Feb. 11, 1995 until his retirement in October 2018 as a media assistant for KVNO Radio. In this role he also served as host of KVNO's "Nocturnes" late-night programming block for 25 years.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Bernadette Smith; and sister Beverly Jones.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Clifford’s loved ones during this time.
