The UNO Academic and Career Development Center (ACDC) officially welcomes Levi Thiele, Ph.D., as the new Director of Career Development. As director, Thiele will lead the career services team and work to build an inclusive career development ecosystem that connects students, faculty, staff, community partners, alumni, and employers.
"Levi is undoubtedly the best person for envisioning the future of UNO career services," says Sammi Kaiser, Senior Director of Academic Advising. "Her tremendous experience coupled with her passion for UNO will build a strong career ecosystem."
Thiele is a talent development executive with experience in leadership, community engagement, and resource development. Most recently she served as Vice President at AIM Institute, a nonprofit with the mission of growing the tech talent community. Thiele is also proud UNO alum with a Ph.D. in Public Administration.
New in Career Services at ACDC
In-person Career and Internship Fairs are back! We have been introducing in-person fairs again this year, which helps students to engage with local recruiters to learn more about opportunities available to them and to expand their professional network. Career Peer Studio has drop-in hours on campus. Our student-staffed career peer studio offers current students and graduates the unique opportunity to receive one-on-one career help from their peers! Stop by when class is in session Mondays through Fridays, 10 A.M. – 2 P.M. for all your career questions.
