UNO Career Services is excited to announce a new resource for students: Big Interview Résumé AI! This innovative tool provides students with immediate feedback on their résumés, helping them craft stronger documents that stand out to employers.
How it Works
Students can upload their résumés to the Big Interview platform for an instant review. The AI will analyze their document, offering real-time feedback on areas like:
-
Keywords: Identify relevant keywords to optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS).
-
Formatting: Ensure a clear and professional layout.
-
Action Verbs: Highlight impactful verbs to showcase accomplishments.
-
Content: Offer suggestions on tailoring the résumé to specific job descriptions.
While Big Interview is a fantastic tool for instant feedback, Career Services emphasizes that it is just the first step. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a member of Career Services to discuss the AI feedback in more detail. Career advisors can provide additional insights, answer questions, and help students refine their résumés for maximum impact.
Benefits for Students
-
Gain Confidence: Get immediate feedback to identify areas for improvement.
-
Save Time: Quickly refine your résumé before job applications.
-
Land the Job: Create a stronger document that attracts employers' attention.
