UNO’s expert Jane Liu, Ph.D., recently shared her expert perspective with KETV regarding new legislation aimed at strengthening consumer protections against fraud, particularly within the cryptocurrency sector. Liu emphasized more regulatory work is still needed.

She noted, "Cryptocurrencies are still not very well regulated, and lots of things can be done in this space," adding that clearer regulations would encourage greater market participation and foster industry growth.
