Fall Break
On Oct. 20 and 21, UNO will observe the Fall Semester Break:
- Fall Break is a Student Holiday
- No classes will be held
- UNO offices will be open
- Classes resume Oct. 22
- Maverick Fall Frenzy (for students) is Oct. 17-20
- Homecoming is Oct. 22-30
Parking for Fall Break
From Monday, Oct. 20, through Tuesday, Oct. 21, there will be open parking in all surface lots and garages in general use parking stalls. Regular enforcement will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 22. Excluded areas on campus are pay-to-park locations (Lots A, C and the seven (7) designated spaces in M), ADA spaces (prohibited to those without a ADA permit), reserved spaces, loading zones, motorcycle areas, carpool spaces, compact stalls, visitor spaces, EV charging spaces, driveways, drive aisles, and fire lanes. Excluded areas are enforced 24/7.
Campus Shuttle Service for Fall Break
From Monday, Oct. 20, through Tuesday, Oct. 21, shuttles will run with Limited Service from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and will service the Scott Hall, Scott Crossing, and Criss Library shuttle stops only. There will be no service to the stops at Maverick/University Village, Milo Bail Student Center, H&K, Peter Kiewit Institute, Mammel Hall, or Pacific Parking Garage shuttle stops. Routine service will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
