TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Project Achieve has been recognized by the university with the award "Most Continuous Years of Service" for our students participation in UNO's 3 Days of Service and 7 Days of Service events held during fall and spring break every year.

Habitat for Humanity
Project Achieve students revived the UNO Student Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and have participated in many builds, including working on the home of a fellow TRIO SSS Project Achieve student's family. TRIO SSS Project Achieve students also have raised funds for Habitat for Humanity Omaha.
Benson Plant Rescue
Students from TRIO SSS Project Achieve have contributed to Benson Plant Rescue on numerous occasions. They most recently went to help tidy garden beds during the Spring 2025 semester.
Students Against Hunger
TRIO SSS Project Achieve students have made it their mission to fight food insecurity at the University of Nebraskat at Omaha (UNO) and the Omaha community by leading UNO's Students Against Hunger student organization.
TRIO SSS Project Achieve students have also served in many short-term community projects, including for:

- Stephen Center
- Open Door Mission
- Siena Francis House
- Together Omaha
